Persimmon Creek
Persimmon Creek is a literary arts journal published by the Division of Languages, Literature, and Composition at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Named after the creek that runs through campus, our journal features the voices and visions of creatives in our campus community and in the greater Upstate region.
As an inclusive journal, we seek diverse expressions that transcend the boundaries of traditionalism. We publish good stories in a variety of genres, and we encourage hybrid forms. Submissions are open to all.
Current Volume: Volume 1 (2025)
